Karson's Baby Dedication

Eph. 6:4 says we are to bring our children up “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”

  1. Be a Godly parent. (Parent dedication…requires getting right w/ God)
  2. Teach this child of Christ. (they will need to be saved)
  3. Keep this child in church.
  4. Love this child. (even if loving them means disciplining them/letting God discipline you!)
  5. Pray for this child.
  6. Train this child.
  7. Stay married for this child. (there are other reasons for this too, but this is a great one!)
  8. Make your home a holy place.
  9. Put away worldliness.
  10. Live a righteous life.

I like what Joshua told the children of Israel as they settled into their new home, the Promised Land.

Joshua 24:14-1514 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served…and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

I want my family to turn out right, and so, as a parent, I’m going to begin to lead them right! Giving Your Children To God is a CLAIMING of God’s plan and promises for that child’s life.

As you obey God with your life, and as you give that child back to God, you are posturing that child to receive God’s very best for his/her life.

Pr 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Karson Wesley Krebs was dedicated to the Lord at Benton Free Baptist Church on April 23, 2006 by his loving parents Angela and Lenny Krebs and Family! Our prayer is that he will grow up being a loving, devoted Man of God

Karson is almost three months old in this picture. Grandma Jeannine, Amy's mother-in-law, sent Karson this BUMBO to help him sit up. He did pretty good for only 3 months sitting in this. So cute!!

Kacilyn kissing her baby brother. She is sometimes a little too rough. I guess he will develop tough skin!

Later that evening, we went to visit Grandma Krebs after she got off work at Applebee's, where she is a manager, she got to spend some time rocking her precious baby Karson.

More Middlebury Magic

Ashton #5
Ashton and the Magic team mascot "Fido".

After the game against the Invaders. U-10 Middlebury Magic team is made up mostly of 7 & 8 year olds and playing teams that are made up of 10 year olds. So we haven't had a lot of wins this year, actually,,we haven't won any. BUT,,,we are these girls will be tough in a couple of years with all this wonderful experience!

Kacilyn loves to watch her sissy play soccer. She is one of her biggest fans!

I love this action shot of Ashton kicking the ball.

Sisters, Brae (to the left) and Sage are Ashton's good friends and team mates.

I took these pictures from Jeannine's webspot. (Thank you Jeannine for keeping us up to date on Amy and Tyler!!) These are pictures of my sister Amy and her husband, Tyler and his family. We call Tyler's mom and dad Grandma Jeannine and Grandpa Dwight in our house. Jeannine always sends Ashton, Kacilyn and Karson mail and fun packages for them to open on their birthdays and special holidays. She is the neatest lady and so very thoughtful!

Amy and Tyler live in South Carolina so I don't get to see my sissy very often. We still manage to talk on the phone a couple times a week. I miss her very much and wish that I could see her more. We have an awesome relationship. Amy and Tyler have been married for 5 years and are working hard right now to grow there own business. No children yet but maybe soon??!!
